Career Roles

Career positions represent the highest level of commitment within Nexus Gaming Studios. These are executive and departmental leadership roles that carry significant responsibility, requiring professionalism, critical thinking, and a long-term dedication to the studio's mission and community.

  • Age: 18 years or older. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for exceptionally qualified candidates.
  • Literacy: Must demonstrate strong written communication, the ability to form clear and coherent paragraphs, and sound critical thinking skills.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Exceptions may be made for candidates with proven relevant experience.
  • Availability: Must maintain consistent weekly availability and communicate any schedule changes proactively with leadership.
  • Professionalism: Expected to uphold the studio's values at all times, lead by example, and represent the organization with the highest standard of integrity.
  • Experience: Prior experience in leadership, management, community administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Community & Moderation Positions

Volunteer Roles

Volunteer positions are the foundation of our community operations. These roles are open to passionate members who are ready to take on responsibility, enforce community standards, and contribute to a professional and welcoming environment for all players.

  • Age: 16 years or older. Applicants aged 16–17 must demonstrate exceptional maturity and will be reviewed individually by leadership.
  • Conduct: Must maintain a clean or near-clean record within the Nexus Gaming Studios community. Prior serious violations may disqualify an applicant.
  • Commitment: Expected to remain active, responsive, and consistently engaged within the community on a regular basis.
  • Communication: Must communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with players, community members, and fellow staff at all times.
  • Attitude: A team-first mentality is essential. All volunteers are held to the same conduct standards as career staff members.
