Paid & Leadership Positions

Career Roles

Career positions represent the backbone of Nexus Gaming Studios. These roles carry real responsibility, leadership expectations, and long-term commitment to the studio and its projects. Candidates are expected to bring maturity, professionalism, and a genuine drive to contribute at the highest level.

  • Age: 18 years of age or older. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for exceptionally qualified candidates.
  • Literacy: Must possess strong written communication skills including the ability to form clear paragraphs, demonstrate critical thinking, and communicate professionally.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Exceptions may be made for candidates with relevant experience or demonstrated capability.
  • Availability: Must be able to commit a consistent number of hours per week and communicate proactively about availability changes.
  • Professionalism: Expected to represent the studio with integrity, resolve conflicts maturely, and lead by example within the community.
  • Experience: Prior experience in moderation, game development, community management, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Community & Support Positions

Volunteer Roles

Volunteer positions are the entry point into the Nexus Gaming Studios team. These roles are ideal for passionate community members who want to contribute, grow their skills, and work toward a larger role within the studio. While the bar is more accessible, we still expect a high standard of conduct and dedication from all volunteers.

  • Age: 16 years of age or older. As our primary community is 18+, exceptions are made for volunteers who demonstrate exceptional maturity and responsibility.
  • Conduct: Must have a clean or near-clean record within the Nexus Gaming Studios community. Prior bans or serious violations may disqualify an applicant.
  • Commitment: Expected to be active, responsive, and engaged within the community on a regular basis.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with both players and staff members at all times.
  • Attitude: A positive, team-first attitude is essential. Volunteers represent the studio and are held to the same conduct standards as all staff.

* Volunteers aged 16–17 will be reviewed individually to ensure suitability within our 18+ community environment.
